Continence outcomes after focal therapy for prostate cancer
Focal therapy is offered on a continence argument: treat part of the gland, spare the function. That argument deserves outcome data from the men who took it.
Status. Early stage — cohort assembly underway.
This hub is still being built. The analysis is underway; the derivation, tables and figures will be posted here as they are finished, the way the completed projects on this site are. What is below is the design and the current state, written up as it stands.
The question
What are the urinary continence outcomes — incontinence, leakage — after HIFU and irreversible electroporation for prostate cancer?
How it is being done
- Chart review of patients treated with HIFU or irreversible electroporation.
- Continence and leakage as the primary outcomes, recorded against baseline function.
This page grows as the work does.
